Hey, I have a really low normal voice. Which is abit of a problem cause when im singing my family i was says im singing extremely low i try to sing high and i either go into falsetto or it feels like my neck is gonna explode i just wanna beable to sing at a proper level withotu singing low.

Thank goodness for this vid, I know why whistle is so hard to get, since my larynx is placed so high, I just gotta practice on how to lower it.

if Bret was teaching wrong then please explain to me why in the fuck Hayley Williams sounds out of this world with the unique voice she has now? its because of this man! and also her hard work to focus on what she does to be as good as she can get and my god shes doing mighty fucking fine.

I guess if these techniques were so damaging to your cords after twenty years his voice would be fried. Hmmm think not.

He's not "some guy on the internet" He's an internationally recognized vocal teacher. Are you? Do you have his course? I somehow think not to judge so blindly. His course IS full of classic opera vocal exercises for articulation, resonance and placement. But its peppered with some speech level exercises for pop, gospel type singing. He does not teach Bel Canto or any kind of opera technique. Its pop singing. Don't be so narrow minded and biased.
